PARISIAN INFO. A 27-year-old man suspected of raping two elderly patients in Hauts-de-Seine at the end of July has just been arrested

End of the run for the alleged rapist of the Nanterre hospital (Hauts-de-Seine).

The suspect was arrested this Friday morning at the Gare de Lyon in Paris, by the police of the Ile-de-France network brigade.

It was 7:20 a.m. that morning when officials approached a seated man in the hall of the RER heading towards line 1 of the metro to check him.

"They asked him for his identity papers but he didn't have any," said a source close to the case.

Also without an address, the SDF even gives his name and a quick check allows agents to identify him as a Congolese national under a search warrant issued by a magistrate of the court of Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine) .

The suspect allows himself to be searched.

He has no dangerous objects on him and he is handcuffed without difficulty.

During transport to the premises of the Hauts-de-Seine departmental judicial police service (SDPJ 92) where he was placed in police custody, the alleged rapist simply said: "I'm fed up, I'm tired" .

He also allegedly abused a 12-year-old girl

The 27-year-old was wanted in connection with an investigation into the rape of two patients aged 78 and 68 this summer at the Max-Fourestier hospital in Nanterre.

On the morning of July 27, 2022, the two women suffering from Alzheimer's disease were attacked one after the other, in their room of this hospital center which also accommodates the homeless in the Paris region.

The first was raped on her bed at 9:30 a.m., unable to put up the slightest resistance, and the second in the same conditions, at 10 a.m.

The alleged rapist was filmed by the establishment's surveillance cameras but could not be arrested in the hours following the incident.

The management of the hospital had assured that this man was neither a patient nor an employee.

This young man is already unfavorably known to the police.

And it was his genetic fingerprints, taken from the victims, that helped identify him.

“A reconciliation with his DNA also made it possible to impute to him the rape of a 12-year-old child committed a few days later in Paris”, confides a source close to the case.

It is still today in the hands of investigators from the judicial police and should be brought to the courthouse this Sunday morning.
