The catalog of fines in Germany is sometimes quite moderate compared to foreign penalties - according to the ADAC, for example, a speed violation of more than 20 km/h in France costs at least 135 euros, and in Italy at least 175 euros.

And such a fine should also be paid quickly, because fines from other EU countries are enforced in Germany from an amount of 70 euros.

The only exception is Austria: Here fines are collected from as little as 25 euros due to a special agreement.
