the successful Indian YouTuber MD Talk YT, who has an account with more than 300,000 subscribers, claims in a new tweet that he published on Twitter that his aunt was killed in her sleep as a result of an explosion of a Xiaomi Redmi 6A smartphone - and attached photos of the burnt phone.
"Last night my aunt was found dead. She was using a Redmi 6A," the YouTuber wrote in a tweet, along with tagging Xiaomi executives.
"She was sleeping and kept the phone next to her face on the side of the pillow and after a while the phone exploded. These are difficult times for us. It is the brand's responsibility to support us."
After the publication, the Chinese technology giant announced that they had opened an investigation into the case and that they were cooperating with the family

At the same time, in another tweet published by the YouTuber, he told about his aunt's son who serves in the army and added that "she would only use her phone to call and watch YouTube. The family lives a very simple life."
