"I'm excited": Shalom Hanoch returned to the stage after the back injury
After about two months in which he was absent from the stage, and after canceling several performances, the Israeli rock king participated in the tribute show for the "Mezel Gedi" album at the Israeli Opera House, and performed four songs alongside Shlomi Shaban, Esther Rada, Alon Ader, Uzi Navon and the Israeli Jerusalem Chamber Orchestra.

Shalom Hanoch returned to the stage tonight (Wednesday) after being absent from it for about two months and canceling several performances.
This, as I recall, after he suffered a herniated disc in his back.
"I'm excited," he told the audience.
Hanoch went on stage to perform four songs - "Night", "Dark Darkness", "The Banana Bender", "Absalom" - in another performance of "Back to Capricorn" at the Israeli Opera House, alongside Shlomi Shaban, Esther Rada, Alon Ader, Uzi Navon and the Jerusalem Israeli Camerata Orchestra.
About a month ago, the 76-year-old Hanoch announced the cancellation of his performances due to "a herniated disc accompanied by pains that do not allow movement".
Since then Hanoch tried to set new dates for the performances, but the pain did not allow him to return to the stage.

Also last April, Shalom Hanoch announced that he was postponing his performances due to a medical condition.
The musician said at the time: "In the last few days, Shalom Hanoch has been feeling unwell. On the advice of his doctors, he will undergo a medical procedure in the coming days and will be required to rest. Therefore, the upcoming performances will be postponed. Until he jokes with his doctors."
