In this long-term investigation, Anne Jouan, who was a journalist for

for twenty years , and Professor Christian Riché, a long-time expert at the French Medicines Agency, tell the strings she had to pull to unravel the intricacies between pharmaceutical groups, in particular the French laboratory Servier, political leaders, medical mandarins, spooks and officials of the French Medicines Agency.
Armed with her unfailing stubbornness, the journalist ends up demonstrating that this last instance, created after the contaminated blood affair to put order in drug policy in France, withdraw dangerous treatments and supervise clinical trials, has failed.
