New cameras of the iPhone 14 Pro series: You can sometimes hear a grinding or grinding noise

Anyone who bought a new iPhone 14 Pro or iPhone 14 Pro Max actually opted for one of Apple's new flagship models - and had to pay upwards of around 1300 euros for it.
But shortly after the devices were delivered last Friday, several owners complained about major limitations in a very central function: their 48-megapixel main camera seems to be crazy.
As some of the affected customers report, they cannot take photos and pictures with third-party apps such as Snapchat, TikTok and Instagram.
As soon as they access the rear camera with these apps, it is said that it starts to vibrate, rattle and even move uncontrollably.
Dozens of videos showing customers demonstrating the problem have been circulating on social media since the weekend.
A grinding or grinding noise can be heard in the clips, which the camera makes in the housing while the image on the display shakes.
In some videos you can also see that the camera on the iPhone moves in the housing.
Apple admitted the problem to the Bloomberg business service on Monday evening in a statement, without going into the cause.
An update is planned for the coming week that will fix the error, the company said.
So far, the problem only seems to occur with the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max (read here how the new models perform in the test).
Although the hardware is also affected by this bug, some experts suspect a software error that could have something to do with image stabilization.
In Apple's own camera app, the image seems to stabilize without any problems.
