Fake Covid-19 tests: a note from the police warns of their use to escape court summons

In police jargon, this is called a “flash note”.

This brief telex, dated September 19 and emanating from Sirasco, the criminal information service of the national police, warns of the use by offenders of false positive Covid tests to escape court summons.

The document calls for vigilance from the police and gendarmerie services, but also from customs and justice.

“A careful examination of the certificates presented by people followed by justice, if necessary with the partner services, would make it possible to curb the phenomenon”, notes the note which we were able to read.
