Christian Quesada is back in prison.

The former record holder of the TF1 program "12 Coups de midi" was arrested on Monday and placed in detention in the Perpignan penitentiary center, indicates Midi Libre on Tuesday.

The 58-year-old man did not respect some of the obligations attached to his parole, explains the regional daily.

Star of the small screen, Christian Quesada won 192 victories at the "12 Coups de midi" between July 2016 and January 2017 as well as 809,392 euros in winnings, including 200,000 euros in gifts.

But the myth had collapsed a few months later: in May 2017, the general culture champion was the subject of a complaint from a 17-year-old minor.

Passing himself off as a teenager, he had obtained naked photos of her before offering to have paid relations with a man.

In the end, five victims of similar facts were identified by the investigators.

The gendarmes also discovered in this divorced father more than 30,000 child pornography images in his computer equipment.

He would not have respected his socio-judicial follow-up

The former TF1 champion was sentenced to three years in prison in 2020 for "corruption of minors", possession and dissemination of child pornography images.

He had been placed in pre-trial detention at the Bourg-en-Bresse remand center (Ain) in March 2019, during his arrest in his house in Hauteville.

After obtaining parole in March 2021, Christian Quesada had moved discreetly to the Pyrénées-Orientales.

However, he had to respect a certain number of obligations, including socio-judicial follow-up, provided for sex offenders and criminals, specifies Midi Libre.

It is this obligation that he would not have respected and which would have led the sentence enforcement judge to revoke his parole, details the ActuPerpignan site.
