The secretary general of the Presidency of the Republic Alexis Kohler has been indicted for "illegal taking of interests", announced the national financial prosecutor's office in a press release.
Alexis Kohler "has, moreover, been placed under the status of witness assisted by the chief of influence peddling", adds the prosecution.
This indictment comes within the framework of a judicial investigation opened following a complaint with civil action filed on January 30, 2020 by the Anticor association before the dean of the investigating judges of the Paris court.
