It's almost official: there won't be a new Call of Duty game coming out next year Israel today

The beloved game Among Us gets a virtual reality version • The reboot of Saints Row is going to undergo ten thousand treatments • What is Dwayne Johnson going to do in Fortnite?

Prepare to be disappointed:

next year, gaming industry officials insist, there won't be a new Call of Duty game.

So what?

Well, Activision, which may already be fully owned by Microsoft by then, is expected to release a paid expansion pack for Modern Warfare 2, the next title in the series to be launched on October 28.

This will be the first time in just under two decades that Activision will not release a standalone COD game.

The claim is that the reason for the decision stems from the bitter disappointment with the performance of Vanguard, which was released last year.

The aforementioned title faced significantly lower reviews than the previous games in the series, and Activision itself even admitted that its sales were lower than expected. The truce, then, is quite necessary.

Ceasefire.

Station at first sight

The virtual reality version of the hit detective game Among Us will be launched on November 18 in versions for PC (via Stream or Meta Quest 2, as Meta announced this week), but also for PlayStation's PSVR.

On the face of it, it is exactly the same game: the action takes place on a space station, when one of the players tries to murder the other characters, and the players have to join forces to find out who the perpetrator is before they themselves join the list of victims.

However, the VR edition will be presented from a first-person perspective and will boast some new animations, which is pretty cool.

Oh, and you can also give fun to the guys who pass in front of you at the station, and that's pretty cool too.

Have a nice survival!

Now in VR.

assigns improvements

Following the terrible launch of the Saints Row reboot, which was accompanied by extremely cold reviews (we also contributed to them), the game's developer, Volition, announced a massive new update that will be available for download next month.

Those who have not yet completely given up on the GTA-style action-adventure title may want to know that the update is expected to fix no less than 200 (!) bugs that harm the gaming experience and make it particularly frustrating, improve the stuttering driving mechanism (which we also complained about), along with upgrades more

Volition even apologized to the players for the fact that the patchwork is taking much longer than expected, and promised that it does not intend to abandon the game, despite all the problems.

Well, at least someone is taking responsibility for the mess.

Too little too late?

Rock and Brawl

Dwayne Johnson will be a guest on Fortnite next week, or rather, the anti-superhero character he plays in DC Comics' Black Adam (October 20th in theaters).

In addition to the required skin, the gamers will be able to arrange for a new weapon - the nervous sprout that Mr. Adam waves in the film, and also for an accompanying emote, which shows him sitting on a throne in a rather threatening pose.

you know

Don't mess with him.
