A Corvette driver is defended on Reddit despite standing in two parking spots.

The blame lies with the parking lot operator.

Finding a good parking space is not particularly easy.

Be it because everything is too parked or other drivers are not so precise with the markings and block several parking spaces at the same time.

Especially in the latter case, the frustration is often high.

But there is another way, as a post on Reddit shows.

The user "Adam_Exists" shared a picture of a Chevrolet Corvette - which will soon be electric - parked in a parking garage.

So far, so unspectacular.

However, the sports car seems to be in two parking spaces.

"He parked like this and then went on vacation," Adam_Exisit wrote on the post in the mildly infuriating subreddit.

Whether the Corvette is wrong or right is not entirely clear.

However, if you take a closer look at the picture, it quickly becomes clear that the Corvette driver is probably not standing in two parking spaces on purpose.

The wheel stopper - which is mainly used in the USA - is placed in such a way that it is on both parking spaces.

A fact that is not hidden from Reddit users either: "The incorrect placement of the parking block is even more annoying than the parking process." In addition, the Corvette driver seems to have caught one of the few parking spaces where the wheel stop is not placed in the middle.

And the lines of the two parking lots are hardly recognizable.

For another user it is clear that the Corvette driver is not at fault here: "This is the fault of those who failed in the design and/or maintenance of the parking spaces.

It looks like they are trying to be cheap and use a two seat threshold.

I can well imagine that I feel the same way.

Should I follow the worn and faded lines or the same standard as every other parking lot I've seen in my life?” Most users take a similar view and assume the sports car owner has done nothing wrong.

"I agree and add a 'This happens a lot in this parking lot,'" adds one Reddit user.

However, the reaction to such parking maneuvers is not always so positive.

In the USA, a man took revenge on a parking offender in a strange way.

And in England, a BMW driver got an angry note for standing on the pavement.

And Reddit user "Adam_Exists" is only slightly annoyed, too, because he understands that the parking block may have confused the sports car's owner.
