Various subscription offers from Apple now cost more, both in the USA and in Germany.

  • Apple TV +, the film and series flat rate from the Cupertino group, now costs 6.99 euros per month in Germany.

Watching series like "Ted Lasso" and "Severance" will be two euros more expensive.

  • The music streaming service Apple Music used to cost EUR 9.99 per month, now it is EUR 10.99.

The Music family subscription will soon cost EUR 16.99 instead of EUR 14.99.

  • Apple One, which combines several subscription services, will be up to three euros more expensive per month, depending on the package.

The single subscription now costs EUR 16.95 instead of EUR 14.95, the family subscription EUR 22.95 instead of EUR 19.95 and the premium package EUR 31.95 instead of EUR 28.95.

The Apple Arcade games flat rate seems to continue to cost EUR 4.99 per month and the price of Apple Fitness+ also remains constant at EUR 9.99 per month.

Apple also left its storage space offer iCloud Plus untouched.

An Apple spokesman told the 9to5Mac blog that the price increase for Apple Music was due to an increase in licensing costs.

At the same time, artists and songwriters would make more money by streaming their music.

More expensive than new Netflix package

Speaking about Apple TV+, the spokesman said the flat rate was launched at a "very low price" because the service started with very few shows and movies.

The selection is now much larger.

With the new price of 6.99 euros, Apple's video offer will cost more than the new Netflix entry-level offer, which starts in November.

In contrast to the new Netflix package for 4.99 euros, Apple's offer is ad-free.

At the beginning of October, Apple had already increased the standard prices for apps and games in the App Store.

In the course of that push, for example, the prices of apps that previously cost 0.99 euros rose to 1.19 euros.

Apps that previously cost EUR 49.99 are now priced at EUR 59.99.

With the introduction of the 14 series, iPhones have also become significantly more expensive in Germany, while prices in the USA have remained unchanged.
