Instagram users around the world are reporting this evening (Monday) that they are unable to connect to their account.
According to the publications, when connecting to the account, the message "Suspend your account" appears - with the possibility to appeal the decision within 30 days.
Alongside this, there are reports of a drastic drop in followers for all users, apparently following the "suspension" of accounts.
Meanwhile, Meta commented on the issue and said in response: "We are aware that some of you are having problems accessing your Instagram account. We are looking into the problem and apologize for the inconvenience."
According to the website Downdetector, which provides a snapshot of global internet failures, the failure is felt mainly in Western and Central Europe, North America and the Middle East - including Israel.
