With EBM-Papst, the supplier for fans and blowers will be lost in the future.

The world market leader in fans, EBM-Papst from Mulfingen near Heilbronn in Baden-Württemberg, decided a few weeks ago to withdraw from the automotive industry.

report, he makes it clear why his company decided to do this: "The desired quality is only a limited challenge for us technologically and is not attractive for us as a supplier at the prices asked."

According to its own description, the company offers ventilation connections and thus the perfect interaction of engine technology, electronics and flow technology.
These three core competencies are directly related to each other in the products.
EBM-Papst's goal is always to use air and movement with maximum efficiency - regardless of whether in a confined space, in large dimensions or under extreme environmental conditions.
With regard to possible problems for Audi due to the loss of the supplier, it goes on to say: "We conclude long-term agreements with our supply partners for the duration of our models and expect that EBM-Papst will continue to fulfill its contractual obligations."
