A court ruling has ordered a Tesla customer in China to apologize to the carmaker and pay a fine.

He had sharply attacked the manufacturer in the media.

Hardly any company boss is as controversial as Elon Musk, who just bought Twitter and caused huge chaos there.

And hardly any car brand is as controversial as Tesla - especially the "Autopilot".

Just recently, a Model Y completely failed a test by TV journalists.

The beta tests with the so-called "Full Self-Driving" expansion stage (FSD) are also sharply criticized.

A YouTuber recently showed the problems that vehicles have in reality on snowy roads.

But now Tesla has apparently won a lawsuit against a complaining customer in China – he had to apologize and pay a fine.

reports, the Chinese's Tesla Model X apparently braked from 100 to 60 km/h without any reason - at least that's what the man claimed.

As a result, the Tesla driver gave interviews to several Chinese media, in which he explained, among other things, that the Tesla brakes had failed and his car had turned into a suicide toy - and that he was demanding a refund and compensation.

A Chinese customer had to apologize after his allegations at Tesla following a court ruling.

After allegations: Chinese Tesla customer must apologize

In addition, no one from Tesla contacted him after the malfunction.

The carmaker, which now also sells tequila glasses, presented evidence during the trial that could testify to the contrary.

Apparently, Tesla even offered a repair several times, which the customer refused.

The court then sentenced the Chinese to a fine of 10,000 yuan (equivalent to around 1,360 euros, as of the end of November 2022).

He was also asked to publicly apologize to Tesla for his allegations in a local newspaper.

Chinese Tesla customer must apologize - there was a similar case some time ago

According to the portal, a similar judgment had already been given a year ago: After colliding with more than a dozen cars, a Tesla owner claimed that a brake failure in his Stromer had caused the mega crash.

The man was fined 50,000 yen (about 6,800 euros) and also had to apologize publicly.

In May 2022, he admitted to a Chinese social media portal that he had fabricated the allegations.
