The program will accompany women from Israel, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and Morocco to help them reach management positions in the industry • "Opportunities multiply, and thus women become leaders in our region"

A new initiative that will be launched this January will bring together women from Israel, Morocco, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain in order to advance their careers.

The UAE-Israel Business Forum joins the FemForward program to launch the initiative that will help advance women in the technology sector, from junior positions to management positions.

The program is intended for women from the countries of the Abrahamic Agreements - Israel, Morocco, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates - and is funded by a grant from the US Embassy in Israel.

The program lasts for three months.

It begins with a two-day seminar in Israel, continues with online lectures and a mentoring program, and ends with a two-day seminar in Dubai.

During the course, the participants are exposed to senior women in the economy and the public sector such as the CEO of Meta Israel Adi Sofer Thani and the Deputy Mayor of Jerusalem Fleur Hasan-Nahum, who also serves as a co-founder of the Business Council of the United Arab Emirates. This is in addition to lectures on behalf of companies such as the technology giant. The program is open to women from all technology sectors and should provide appropriate tools and work relationships.

"As the technology industry in the countries of the Abraham Accords continues to grow - so do the opportunities for women to develop their careers and become leaders and managers," noted the co-founder of the forum, Fleur Hasan-Nahum.

"By giving the necessary tools to women - we are helping to increase the number of leaders in the region."

The CEO and founder of FemForward Rachel Wagner Rosenzweig said: "We created the community of women in hi-tech and entrepreneurship in Jerusalem with a vision of influencing women's careers and the results so far have been extraordinary.

We are interested in bringing this successful program to other countries in the Abraham Accords."

The "United Arab Emirates-Israel Business Forum" was founded in the summer of 2020 by leaders from the business sector and the public sector from Israel and the United Arab Emirates.

The purpose of the forum is to help improve joint opportunities and economic cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and Israel.

The FemForward organization was founded in the same year as a program that promotes employees in junior positions to management positions.

The program is designed to respond to career women.

Since the beginning of the initiative, more than a hundred graduates have participated, with more than half of them being promoted.
