It's time to be accountable for the little mafia.
Seven men, aged 25 to 54, are on trial before the Paris Criminal Court for human trafficking, concealment in organized gangs and money laundering.
They are suspected of having, between October 2020 and April 2021 in Paris and Île-de-France, led a network of teenagers specializing in theft with violence in transport and the resale of cigarettes on the sly.
This network would have exploited thirteen unaccompanied minors (UMA), forcing them to steal on their behalf.
Investigators from the sub-directorate for the fight against irregular immigration estimate that their loot could reach 500,000 euros.
