The British music duo Eurythmic Mix is expected to reunite and go on an international tour next year, after they were offered a huge sum for the union.
According to reports in the British media, Annie Lennox (67) and Dave Stewart (70), who founded the successful duo in 1980 and enjoyed tremendous success around the world, received an offer of 100 million dollars from American producers in exchange for a world tour that will include about 40 concerts.
If the tour goes ahead, it will be their first in 20 years.
The successful duo recently made a rare appearance when they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
A source in the music world claims in a conversation with the British media that the two are even considering releasing a new album in addition to a concert tour.
There has not yet been an official announcement from the members of the duo regarding the offer they received.
Eurythmics were established as mentioned in 1980 and were very successful in the world.
They sold about 75 million albums, won many awards and held successful tours.
They are considered the most successful British musical duo of all time.
After disbanding in 1990, they reunited and operated between 1999 and 2005.
In November 2005, the duo released the compilation album "Ultimate Collection", which contained all their greatest hits as well as two new songs.
Lennox and Stewart appeared on a number of television shows to promote the release of the album, which went platinum in the UK.
In 2009, Lennox stated that although she and Stewart remained friends, she did not foresee any further joint projects for Eurythmics in the future.
