The funeral of Ludovic Montuelle, public finance inspector killed ten days ago, will be held this Wednesday in Avion near Lens (Pas-de-Calais) in private.
The Minister of Public Accounts, Gabriel Attal will go there and give him the Legion of Honor posthumously, with the distinction "Death in the service of the nation", as we revealed on Sunday.
The ceremony will take place in strict privacy, specifies RTL, "without plaque or artificial flowers", according to the wishes of the family.
It can be followed from outside, near the Saint-Eloi church in Avion.
Last Wednesday, a minute of silence was observed at noon at the Ministry of the Economy, as well as in tax centers in France.

An investigation opened for "assassination" and "kidnapping"
Ludovic Montuelle, 43, chief inspector of public finances, was found unresponsive on November 21 on the ground floor of the home of Sandy Théron, the 46-year-old man he was visiting.
He would have been hit by several stab wounds in the back and chest, according to the findings of the pathologist.
His colleague who accompanied him during the check had been found safe and sound, but tied to a chair.

The public prosecutor of Arras, who considers that the facts could have been premeditated, opened an investigation for "assassination" and "kidnapping", which he entrusted to the gendarmes of the Lille research section and the brigade of Arras research.
