A terrible tragedy: the American country singer Jack Flint died last Saturday at the age of only 37, a few hours after he married his partner, Brenda Wilson.
The two were married at a site located about 15 miles from Tulsa, Oklahoma, the city where the two lived.
According to media reports in the United States, Flint died in his sleep.
The cause of death has not yet been released.
Flint, a guitar player and singer born in Oklahoma, began playing as a child after his father - who had shortly before been diagnosed with muscular dystrophy - gave him a guitar.
He has since established himself in the local music scene, performing in Oklahoma and Texas, and has released two studio albums and two more live albums in the last decade, the most recent of which was last year.
"We're supposed to be going through wedding photos, but instead I have to pick out clothes to bury my husband," wrote Brenda Flint, his new wife and now his widow, on her Facebook account.
"People shouldn't feel so much pain. My heart is broken and I just really need him to come back. I can't take it anymore. I need him here."
Before that, she uploaded a video with a recording of the two having fun in their wedding photos, and next to it were three words: "I don't understand."
