Available in car and commercial variants, the electric version of the historic model from the Turin manufacturer proved to be agile, quick and eco-sustainable in the Milan road test.

Low "on tap" consumption (on average 19.6 kWh/100 km) and silent running are the novelties that stand out the most from the battery-powered variant of a model which has always had versatility, sturdiness, load capacity, as well as than in reliability, real strengths.
Today, style and technology are added to respect for the environment, for a mix that is already convincing after a few kilometers of tests in areas B and C of the Milanese capital.
The fifth generation of the historic Italian model in passenger car configuration stands out for the silent running offered to drivers and passengers.
With van bodywork, it is loved for its agility in moving through the busiest and narrowest streets of the city, as well as for its well-known ease of loading/unloading.
Both equipped with an electric motor with a power of 100 kW, the two versions of the E-Doblò are equipped with a 50 kWh battery pack which guarantees over 280 km of autonomy in the Wltp mixed cycle.
With 260 Nm of maximum torque available at all times, they move with verve even when fully loaded.

Even on the ring road or on the motorway, it goes smoothly for short-medium range journeys, thanks to the maximum speed of 130 km/h.
Furthermore, the "quick charge" capacity of up to 100 kW makes it possible to supply 80% of the battery in direct current in just 30 minutes, using the quick sockets, available with increasing frequency at service stations.
Thus, the potential for use of the vehicle is greatly increased, well beyond the city limits, which in the Eco driving mode of the three available (the others are Normal and Power), exploits the on-board technology to optimize consumption and precisely, touch the 300 km of autonomy for full of electrons.
Designed to dominate the C-Van segment, produced in the Spanish Vigo plant of the Stellantis group, in the van version it does not fear comparison with the petrol and diesel alternatives of the Doblò.
In fact, the battery pack does not take away space from the load capacity which is 800 kg and 2 europallets, the same volume and only 200 kg less than the proposals with an internal combustion engine.
With the "magic cargo" option, this value increases by 0.5 cubic meters and adds the possibility of stowing on board objects up to 3.4 meters long, such as pipes or ladders.
The passenger side seat can also be raised to take advantage of the compartment underneath and carry boxes or fragile objects, making it even more clever and versatile.
Finally, upon request, there is also the possibility of equipping the cabin with a central revolving table, to transform it into a small mobile office.
On a technological level, the electric Doblò stands out for its complete range of equipment and hi-tech options ranging from comfort to safety.
Among the many choices, the magic mirror should be mentioned, a 5” digital rear-view mirror which also offers a complete view of the blind spots and shows the images captured by the rear camera during maneuvers, to make parking as easy as possible.
It should also be highlighted that it is possible to use the electricity produced by the battery for specific needs such as the cargo fridge or the workbench for power tools.
Available when fully operational in two lengths and three different configurations (Van, Van, Crew Cab, Combi), the new e-Doblo is initially offered for passenger transport with a short length and a turnkey price of 38,400 euros.
For the launch period, it is also offered in the special Launch edition (40,000 euros), in blue, which includes roof bars, opening rear window, 16" black alloy wheels, electrically folding mirrors, electric and darkened rear windows, steering wheel soft touch, 10" digital instrument panel and panoramic roof.
