The Court of Treviso, reversing a ruling made last October by the Justice of the Peace, assessed the high speeding fines by the Treviso Municipal Police as regular on the basis of evidence provided by speed camera devices located in some points of the city ring road.
This was communicated by the same municipal administration which had reacted to the filing of offense reports decreed by the previous magistrate to which a motorist had appealed due to the alleged lack of a homologation certificate.
The instruments, on the other hand, as argued by the Municipality's lawyers, would be completely regular for the ordinary Court.
