2022-12-07T11:04:48.280Z

Meta ensures that the function will be available starting today for all users of the messaging platform

The avatars, those virtual beings that have become the representation of a person on the networks and messaging platform, are coming to WhatsApp today.

Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Meta, has announced it in a post on his Facebook page: “Avatars have arrived on WhatsApp!

Now you can use it as a sticker in chats.

Coming soon, there will be more styles in all our applications.

According to Meta, each user will be able to create avatars from billions of combinations of various hairstyles, facial features, and clothing.

You can use them as your profile photo or choose one of 36 custom

stickers

that reflect various emotions and actions.

As the company explains, it is a quick and fun way to share feelings.

“They are also great for preserving your privacy, as they represent you without you having to include your photo,” the official statement says.

Zuckerberg's company has recently opted to provide fun and useful features for users.

In November, WhatsApp launched two new features that allow users new ways to organize and share messages.

The Communities function makes it possible to manage different groups in a hierarchical way.

Thus, you can create subgroups, several conversation threads, notifications by notices, along with the possibility of making video calls between 32 participants.

Soon came polls, which Meta says is a "fun and effective way to make decisions in a group without spamming everyone in the chat."

The function was described by many users as "the salvation of discussions" and "a blessing" when making group decisions, such as the date, time and place to meet,

For the avatars feature, the company has explained that it will continue to include style updates, such as lighting, shadows, hairstyle textures to improve them over time.

It also ensures that it will be available from today to all users.
