The World Cup games, Hadar Mokhtar and the late Zvika Pick are the values that Israelis searched for online more than any other value in the past year, according to the annual summary of the popular search engine Google. In addition, according to the data published by the company today (Wednesday), it is evident that the word "Corona" for all its biases and guidelines no longer occupies the first place in the chart - after three years in which it starred at the top of the chart.

At the top of the list of "hot searches" this time is the World Cup in Qatar, which created a lot of interest thanks to the many headlines and controversial news it provided, even before the games began.
Second place went to the entry "Wordle", the word game that became a global hit (not least due to the ability to play it no more than once a day).
The opening of the skies and the return to vacations abroad created a great demand for values such as "Thu Yerok" (fourth place) and the cheap flight search site Skyscanner (5)", overtaking the war in Ukraine, which occupies the sixth place in the list of the ten most popular searches. The results of the Knesset elections 27 reached the seventh place, and in the ninth place there is still a remnant of the darker days of Corona, in the form of "MDA - Corona tests".

In the data revealed by Google today, those who have passed away are also noted, chief among them the iconic singer and composer Zvika Pick, who died last summer.
Also on the list - Jeffrey Dahmer (5), the serial killer who is at the center of a feature series about him;
The member of the crime organization Bnei Shlomo who was shot to death in October (2), Rabbi Kanievsky (7) and Queen Elizabeth (10).

The list of requested series was led by the series "Fauda", followed by "Manifest".
Here 11 series received respectable representation in the list, with "Tehran" and "Menayech" in the third and fourth places respectively, "The Commander" which reached the eighth place and "Zero Hour" (10).
"Miller Junction" is also on the list (7) and the American version of "Euphoria (9). "Strange Things", which made quite a bit of noise this year, entered the list in fifth place.

And more values: Hadar Mokhtar, the sensation of the last elections (at least in terms of media coverage, because in the ballot test she did not pass the blocking percentage), occupies the first place in the list of people that Google users in Israel searched for the most this year.
Itamar Ben Gabir, chairman of the "Otzma Yehudit" party and a man who actually became a significant political player in the recent elections, came in third place. The special program about Yigal Shilon, which revealed his health condition, led many surfers to "Google" his name (sixth place), followed by him on the list Simon Leviev, who was at the center of the Netflix docu "The Tinder Scam," appears.
Russian President Vladimir Putin, who won over his country's invasion of Ukraine, is in eighth place.
Eti Kharif (9) and Assi Ezer (10) complete the judging list.
Interesting entries this year to the list are those of Nero Levy (who reached second place, following the serious car accident he had and the fear for his life) and Sandy Bear, who came from the nineties to "Dancing with the Stars" and placed fourth on this list.
