Videos of a parking lot driveway in the US state of Texas are currently going viral.
A TikTok user regularly films countless cars sitting there.
It is well known that Schadenfreude is the greatest joy.
And probably also a reason why videos of mishaps of all kinds are clicked on social media.
Whether it's failed parking maneuvers, unsuccessful parking maneuvers or failures at the gas station - such campaigns are usually a hit on the web.
Now there's a new one: A man in the US makes fun of filming vehicles entering and exiting a parking lot.
The reason: The ramp there is structurally quite questionable.
A compilation of the "most beautiful" top-ups (to be found below) has meanwhile generated several million views on TikTok.
"Bye Catalyst": Video of hitting cars goes viral
A user named davidgrimes17 apparently often lies in wait with his camera in front of the parking lot entrance to an arcade bar in Houston, Texas.
Because the ramp there was designed so unhappily that not only extremely lowered cars, but almost every type of car are sitting here.
The strange thing is that the problem has probably existed for a long time.
Because even photos from Google Street View from April 2022 show extreme scratches on that ramp.
Actually, one would assume that if guests complained about damage to their car, they would perhaps fix it - but so far that is apparently not the case.
Video of landed cars goes viral - Filmer has already shot numerous clips
In any case, not every guest seems to know the pitfalls of the parking lot ramp in Houston.
And so the TikTok filmmaker has already uploaded numerous videos of toppers to his channel.
The type of bottoming is quite diverse: Some vehicles touch down with the underbody between the axles, some with the front, some with the rear.
In fact, the ramp is not the only crash magnet in the USA: a post on a supermarket square in the US state of Maine is also hit again and again.

However, car lovers in particular probably don't feel like laughing at the sight of these clips.
Because at least one or the other bouncer is likely to leave its mark on the vehicle.
In any case, most users suffer with the “victims” of the driveway, as numerous comments under the video show:
