An incredibly accurate conspiracy theory claims that Kevin, Macaulay Culkin's character in the Forget Me At Home movies, has become a serial killer we all know very well

Who forgot Kevin at home?

The mystery of "I was forgotten at home" was solved (Walla system!)

Just as you can't pass Independence Day without Borax movies or Friday the 13th without a horror movie, you can't pass Christmas without re-watching the movie "

Forget Me At Home

".

This Christmas classic was released in 1990 and has since been the subject of many conspiracy theories regarding the iconic characters of the first two films.

One of the popular ones is making waves this year as well - and it claims that the naughty boy Kevin McAllister, played by

Macaulay Culkin

, grew up to be a serial killer that we all know very well.

It may sound strange to you at first, but after we present the evidence to you - you too are expected to be convinced.

Before we tell you which murderer it is - try to guess: which murderer is it suitable to set traps for?

Every year since 2014, the film has fostered a dark holiday tradition: a fan theory that Kevin McAllister grew up to become the serial killer Jigsaw, aka John Kramer from the

Saw series.

". This bizarre theory was originally posted on the since-closed Grantland site — but as we noted, it's pretty convincing.

There are several reasons that suggest that the innocent Kevin became a sadistic killer.

First there are the elaborate and painful traps he set for the "wet bandits" played by Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern.

Who's a bigger fan of jigsaw puzzles?

Fans also pointed out the physical resemblance between them: they both have blue eyes and blonde hair.

From there it all started:

Theorists point out that McAllister communicates with people via an electronic device while Jigsaw talks to his trapped victims through a television screen.

Both like to torture their victims, with the second film in the Saw series having one of the victims burned alive - a trap that may have been inspired by McAllister's well-known fear of the furnace in his basement.

McAllister also knew his next-door neighbor, "Old Man" Marley, who - according to the false rumors spread by the kids in the neighborhood - is a serial killer who murdered his family.

Maybe the boy was inspired by him?

More on the theory:

One fan elaborated on the theory on Reddit: "To me it makes perfect sense. Kevin = Jigsaw. Both make elaborate traps, both are deadly, both have anger control issues, the bear trap from Saw looks like the furnace in Kevin's basement. Jigsaw has a room that looks Like Kevin's basement. Jigsaw has a furnace trap that comes from Kevin's fear. It all comes together."

More Cuban children who grew up into something completely different.

You won't believe what the boy from "Jerry Maguire" looks like today - and what he does for the Jewish community.

The stars of "The Goons" met - and you won't believe what they look like today

And what does McCauley Culkin himself think of it?

So is there a connection?

James Wan, one of the original "Saw" creators, previously told the Huffington Post that McAllister was not the inspiration for the character of Jigsaw - but called the theory "amazing."

He said: "I should have known all along that Macaulay Culkin would grow up to be John Cramer. I think it's amazing. I'm very flattered that people take the time to have fun with all these fan theories. I think that's why I make these movies. I want the fans to They will enjoy them out there."

The last film in the "Forget Me Home Alone" series, "Forget Me Home Alone 6" (Home Sweet Home Alone) aired on Disney+ in November 2021 and currently no additional film in the series is planned.

"The Saw", on the other hand, will return in a tenth film on Halloween 2023. After the box office failure of the ninth film starring Chris Rock, who tried to reinvent the wheel, the production decided to return to the origins - with the tenth film focusing entirely on the original killer, Jigsaw, and the events that occurred between the plot The first film of the second in the series.

Maybe this will be an opportunity for the creators to reconsider the McAllister theory and build us such a twist.
