According to testimonies of people who were in the audience, Essi got off the stage after the audience shouted and claimed that the materials were "offensive and not funny".
Those present at the scene claimed that among the offensive jokes were harsh jokes about vegans.
Surfer Oren Barski wrote on Twitter: "A strange episode: I was just now at an event of the Tel Aviv Municipality, at the end of which there was a performance by Shauli (Asi Cohen). One of the surfers who was in the audience and did not enjoy Asi Cohen's performance, wrote: "It was not funny, blatant and rude. What did you mean?
