Many comedians expressed support for their friend Assi Cohen, after it came off the stage in the show of the character "Maybe" due to the reactions of the audience.

Hanoch Daum wrote that he "doesn't know what we are talking about there exactly, but this is a good opportunity to say that Assi Cohen is the most accurate actor and comedian in Israel, and the character of Shaoli is one of the funniest, most important and greatest characters in the history of Israel."

He called Cohen "a special man", and asked him to "continue to make the people of Israel happy".

"Friends, at a stand-up show you laugh, and those who leave a show in the middle are repulsive," Nelly Tager also wrote.

"If you don't have a sense of humor, don't come to a stand-up show."

Cohen appeared last night in the character of "Shauli" at the event of receiving the volunteer badge of the Tel Aviv municipality, but the performance was stopped about ten minutes after it started - after some of the audience did not like the jokes, shouted "shame" and even left the place in anger.

According to evidence from the scene, some of the jokes that caused discomfort in the audience were jokes about vegans, and most of the audience that got angry and left was an older audience.

Spectators present at the show said that Cohen decided to get off the stage after one of the people approached him and whispered to him to end the show.

Following this, Essi thanked the audience and left the place.
