"I was told it was my problem": users complain about broken Google flagship smartphones - voila! technology

"Obviously it's a manufacturing defect": Google's new flagship smartphone has been in stores around the world for less than three months, and reports are already coming in that the camera cover is shattering on its own

It's not just with Apple and Samsung that this happens:

about three months after the launch, a number of users abroad report a problem with Google's new flagship smartphone, the Pixel 7. According to the complaints, in some devices, the lens cover in the rear camera system breaks for no apparent reason while the device itself was in a pocket or a bag.

A Twitter user known as CSThrowaway posted a photo of the device, in which you can see the rear camera lens cover smashed. According to him, Google responded to his appeal by blaming him. "I've had the device for less than a month.

I was told it was my problem.

Is this really Google's quality control?

This is clearly a manufacturing defect, and I know I'm not the only one.

Please fix it Google," the tweet read.

Not even a month, no drops just regular use.

Have a case on the phone.

Been told its my problem.

Is this really the quality control backed by google?

It's clearly a manufacturing defect, and I know I'm not the only one.

Please fix this google!

At the same time, a similar report comes from another user on the Reddit forum (Reddit), who was surprised to find a crack in the camera when he took the device out of his coat pocket.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time that complaints have come from users about the company's flagship smartphone, and last month an owner of the device found dust inside the selfie camera of the Pixel 7 Pro model.

Meanwhile, Google has not yet provided an official reference to these reports.
