JP Kraemer's YouTube channel was taken over by hackers - and even disappeared completely for a while.

Now the tuner finally has it back.

Update from January 4, 2023, 3:35 p.m .:

JP Kraemer has reason to be happy: "I just entered 'JP Performance' on YouTube - and here comes the channel," explains the overjoyed tuner in his Insta story "And that Makes me very happy.” Hackers had hijacked his YouTube channel and played dubious crypto streams on it, among other things.

Then the channel disappeared completely for a while – but now it is publicly accessible again.

The videos all seem to be back as well.

However, Kanal had to accept a small loss with almost 2.3 million subscribers: "We lost 20,000 subscribers," reports the tuner.

But he doesn't care at all.

Anyone who unsubscribed from the channel during the hacker takeover can now come back.

If not, that's not so bad - the main thing is that he has the channel back.

After all, he and his team asked what they were currently shooting a video for when the channel was gone.

"Thank you for the support and all the lovely messages."

Update from January 3, 2023, 9:11 a.m .:

After his YouTube channel "JP Performance" was hacked, the tuner Jean Pierre "JP" Kraemer has now spoken again in an Instagram story.

"I don't know exactly what to say because it's such a blatant situation," said the Dortmunder into the camera.

"I feel like I lost you guys.

It's really crazy." The channel is currently gone on YouTube, but the tuner is obviously already working on restoring it.

"We're really fighting on every front, everywhere to get this all back together," says JP Kraemer.

"But we'll manage it all.

I wish brutally that everything would go back to how it was before.”

The hack has left its mark: "Imagine if all this stuff was gone," says JP Kraemer.

“As a YouTuber, it can hardly be surpassed in terms of disgust and sadness in me.

this is so hard

I'm at a loss for words." He resolutely counters allegations that the security of the channel wasn't paid enough attention to: "We had all the security precautions in place - and that was blatant: With this double authentication, you always get a message - and we do just didn't get any," said the tuner.

“Which shows the level these guys are at that hack stuff like that.

There was no message, no nothing and it just went away.”

At the moment things are getting pretty tough for JP Kraemer, because the hack wasn't everything: As he reveals in his story, people at his company simply smashed windows overnight.

"If it's going well, it's going well...", sums up the YouTuber.

"I have no words for that." It was just "sad and also very stressful".

He still sees something positive in the incidents: "If I didn't work so hard on myself, it would pull me down a lot more than it actually does," says the tuner.

It makes him stronger.

He thinks: "I'll show you."

First report from January 2, 2023, 10:24 a.m .:

It is probably the nightmare for every YouTuber: hackers take over the account – and delete the uploaded videos.

And you can just watch for yourself.

That's exactly what happened to the Dortmund tuner Jean Pierre "JP" Kraemer (42).

In an Instagram story, the desperate tuner, who not so long ago made his autism diagnosis public, spoke up.

"We've been hacked, which is really, really insane," Dortmund said in the short clip.

"We don't even know what to do."

"It's really serious": JP Kraemer's YouTube channel hacked

The tuner is one of the most popular German YouTubers, his channel has almost 2.3 million subscribers.

But at least temporarily, his countless car videos had disappeared, instead dubious streams on the subject of cryptocurrencies ran – Elon Musk was also seen.

JP Kraemer (who recently announced he has confidence in being chancellor) tried to prevent worse from happening, warning his viewers: "The stream that's on... Don't watch!

And don't click anywhere either, that's very important."

JP Kraemer's YouTube Channel Hacked - Not the first celebrity victim of cyberattacks

Instead of the JP logo, the channel suddenly showed a Tesla logo and was renamed @theteslaworld.

"It's our turn to get that clarified as soon as possible," said JP Kraemer.

"But it's really serious and really sch...".

It's not the first case of this kind: hackers recently hijacked the Tanzverbot YouTube channel (around 1.1 million subscribers), and Julien Bam already had it in spring 2022 (more than eight million followers on three channels ) caught – his videos were deleted.

JP Kraemer's YouTube channel hacked - things are not going quite smoothly with the tuner at the moment

So now auto tuner JP Kraemer has gotten it.

How big the damage is - and whether the tuner has regained control of his channel is not yet known.

In any case, videos are now available again.

Things are not going well at the Dortmund tuner at the moment: he recently drew the ire of many fans who had bought his “Carlender” at full price – because just a few weeks later he sold it at a huge discount.

And not everything went smoothly with his model cars either: many buyers had to wait a long time for their copy, and some cars also arrived broken.

The tuner apologized for this in a video - everything should be better with the next model, he has apparently already found a suitable partner company.
