The intriguing collaboration between Xbox and Asus • And how does Ronaldo's move to Saudi Arabia affect his FIFA ranking?

The technology exhibition CES that is taking place these days in Las Vegas does not focus on gaming, but Sony still used the opportunity to reveal "Project Leonardo" - a temporary name for an accessible controller for the PlayStation 5, intended for gamers with physical disabilities.

It turns out that the new controller has been developed for several years in collaboration with accessibility experts and organizations such as AbleGamers and SpecialEffect, which work for disabled gamers.

There is no launch date yet, but Sony presented an advanced version of the patent at the exhibition.

It is actually a large, flat "circle of buttons" that can be assembled and adjusted.

Thus, gamers will be able to build their own personal controller by positioning the buttons and sticks of the PlayStation controller in the most convenient way, according to their limitations.

The fact that it is a flat accessory allows users to place it safely, for example, on a wheelchair tray, or attach it to vertical surfaces such as walls - without having to hold it.

Jim Ryan, CEO of PlayStation, said at the time of the announcement that "Our goal has always been to break down barriers and allow as many people as possible to enjoy games. We knew that many gamers were asking for a controller that would help them overcome their physical barriers, and 'Project Leonardo' is a unique product designed for a wide range of gamers with different physical needs. It's basically a toolbox that will allow them to adjust their gaming experience as they wish."

The unveiling of the controller was accompanied by an exciting video, in which disabled gamers describe the advantages of the new gaming product.

triple connection

Another interesting disclosure in the field of gaming registered at CES is that of the ROG Raikiri Pro - a unique controller developed by Asus in collaboration with Microsoft.

This intriguing gadget will interface with Xbox, PC and smartphones, and in fact it is the first ever Xbox controller that offers three connection options: wired USB-C, RF (radio frequency) and Bluetooth.

Another significant feature of the Raikiri Pro is a small OLED screen with a width of 1.3 inches, which will display data such as battery status, volume and button profiles, along with the ability to run short animations.

Also, two additional buttons at the top of the controller will allow quick switching between profiles (for example, switching between an action game profile and a sports game profile);

Four rear "bonus" buttons will give the gamer additional control options;

And it will also be possible to calibrate the sensitivity of the analog knobs.

Asus has not announced a specific launch date for the Raikiri Pro, but it has been reported that the advanced controller will hit the market in the coming months.

The end of an era

Ronaldo moved to play for Saudi Arabia's Al Nasser - and his overall rating in "FIFA 23" dropped from 90 to 88. This is actually the first time in more than a decade that the 37-year-old Portuguese star's rating has dropped below 90 - since "Peep" A 11" released in 2010.

In addition to the general lowness (which is undoubtedly related to his lukewarm performance in the last World Cup), Ronaldo's specific ability scores in FIFA are also dropping like there is no tomorrow. His dribbling ability, for example, dropped from 84 to 81, while his stamina (Stamina) Degraded from 74 to 70.

Is an era over?

For comparison, Lionel Messi, who provided the Pantheon with a World Cup and still stars in the French league with Paris Saint-Germain, continues to maintain an overall score of 91 in "FIFA 23", as well as Kylian Mbappe, Robert Lewandowski and Kevin De Bruyne. This is how world fame passes by .
