After the rumors that appeared online in recent months, Samsung officially confirmed yesterday (Saturday) that the first Unpacked event for 2023 will be held on Wednesday, February 1, according to a statement posted by the company.

At the event, the technology giant will unveil the new flagship series - Galaxy S23, and as you can see, in the poster it published, it emphasizes the new camera arrangement in the base models.

What do we know about the announcement event?

This year, too, Samsung will present three models: the entry-level model - Galaxy S23, the Galaxy S23 Plus model with a large screen, and the elite model - Galaxy S22 Ultra.

The leaks of a preliminary design revealed by the serial smartphone leaker OnLeaks may disappoint the fans of the South Korean technology giant, since according to the publication, Samsung is expected to reveal only a slight design change in the mid-range models, with the integration of elements from the Ultra model.

According to the publication, the design of the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus will be the same as the Galaxy Ultra S22 model, when the dedicated area for the lenses will be precisely cut according to their shape instead of a metal coating that merges with the frame of the device.

However, Samsung's premium model, the Galaxy S23 Ultra, is expected to retain the existing design.

Other rumors claim that it is actually a 108 megapixel sensor.
