The European safety organization Euroencap, which conducts crash tests for new cars, publishes the summary of the year 2022, which they define as a "record year" in the organization, and its big stars are electric and Chinese cars.
In this year's summary, they crown the test winners, those who won the highest marks in the protection of adults, children, pedestrians and the performance of the advanced safety systems.
And for the first time, this list includes two cars made by Tesla and two Chinese "newcomers" making their first visit to the European market.

Among the cars that won the TLS is the Hyundai Ionak 6, which registered 97% in the protection of adults and also in the protection of children. It received high marks in light of the little damage to the 6- and 10-year-old mannequins. The Ionak 6 is a second dedicated electric family for the Korean manufacturer and will join the Ionik 5 in building the electric brand. of Hyundai.
Tesla, which scored outstanding results in the crash tests of the Model 3 a few years ago, proves that this is not a one-time event. Both the Model S saloon and the Model Y small crossover based on the Model 3 receive excellent marks in the protection of adults, with the highest score - 98%. The Model S was also the standout of the electric car group.

What started with us in 2021 is also moving to Europe - the entry of more and more Chinese electric and electrified manufacturers into the car market.
And if at the beginning of their journey they received a disdainful look from the old manufacturers and suspicious from the public regarding the possibility of them presenting a high level of safety as the old manufacturers - well, according to some of the latest crash tests, they certainly took this issue seriously.
In this year's summary, the organization mentions two vehicles, the WEY Kopi 01 and the ORA Funky Cat.
Both are products of the Great Wall company, while the first belongs to the luxury division of the manufacturer and is already marketed in Israel by the importer Samlat, the popular ORA is expected to start being sold in Israel by every carrier.
