English actor Julian Sands, star of the hit movie "Love Memories of Florence" and the series "24", has been missing for over five days after hiking a mountain range in California.
After a blizzard prevented the rescue forces from searching for him on foot - and after another man named Bob Gregory who was also lost in the area - the search is carried out using drones.
Sands was hiking in the Baldy Mountain area, in the San Gabriel Mountains - an area located about 40 kilometers from Los Angeles, where two more people have died in recent weeks.
It is not yet clear whether he traveled alone or in the company of other people.
Sands has been living in Los Angeles since the beginning of the decade.
He is a father of three.
He also played in films such as "Phantom of the Opera" and "Ocean's 13", and series such as "24", "Dexter" and "Medici".
Amid the searches, the regional sheriff's office urged people to "think twice" before traveling in the area,
