From 7 pm today, January 24, and for 48 hours, the petrol stations will be on strike.

In any case, users will be guaranteed minimum refueling services both in the city and on the motorway

.

Here is a handbook of the strike:

- Hours

: the managers will cross their arms from 7pm this evening, January 24th, and until 7pm on Thursday 26th in ordinary traffic (urban and extra-urban areas).

On the other hand, the strike on the motorway network will always begin tonight, but from 10pm, and will continue until 10pm on Thursday.

    - Guaranteed minimum

services : some essential services are ensured, as required by the self-regulation code of the commission for the strike in public services.

In particular, the opening of 12.5% of the points of sale is guaranteed on ordinary roads (in the city and in extra-urban areas), while on the motorway network, from north to south and from south to north, the opening of a service area every 100 km.

    - List of open plants

: it has been identified by the prefectures for plants in the city and in suburban areas, while the list of petrol stations open on the motorway is established by the regions.

   - Plants open on the motorway:

according to what was published on the website of the Conference of Regions and Autonomous Provinces (www.regioni.it), there will be 175 plants active during the two days of the strike on the entire motorway network, on the Grande Raccordo Anulare of Rome, on the Naples ring road and on some consular roads equally distributed throughout Italy.

    In particular, 19 service stations will remain open on the A1 motorway, 10 on the A3, 15 on the A4, 3 on the A5, 4 on the A6, 5 on the A7, 2 on the A8-A9, 6 on the A10, two on the A11, 8 on the A12 , 4 on A13, 20 on A14, 4 on A15 and A16, 3 on A18 and A19, 2 on A20, 6 on A21, 7 on A22, 2 on A23, 3 on A24, 2 on A25, 6 on A26 , 2 on the A27, on the A28, on the A30 and on the A31, 3 on the A32 and on the A50, two on the A51, one on the A52, 4 on the A55, 2 on the A57, 3 on the Naples ring road, 4 on the Gra and 2 on the Rome - Fiumicino.

    - Plants directly managed by the owners:

in Italy, according to Fegica, out of 22,000 petrol stations there are a couple of thousand directly managed by the oil companies and for this "they will reasonably remain open".

    For example, the plants belonging to Asnali, the autonomous national association of free entrepreneurs, whose members will not join any form of protest, will remain open.

    - Closed self-services:

Fegica reminds us that those who go on strike close everything, even the self-service pumps, while those who keep it open guarantee all the services normally offered.

    - Autogrills open:

on the motorway, even in the case of a closed fuel plant, the catering services are independent and will remain open.

    - What the standard provides:

according to the provisions of the Commission for Guaranteeing the Implementation of the Law on the Strike in Essential Public Services, plants may be identified for the road network on the basis of express requests by the competent Prefectures, in order to allow supplies to administration vehicles and bodies public (emergency police assistance, etc.) that do not have autonomous refueling capacity.

For the ordinary urban and extra-urban road network, a number of refueling stations must be kept in service at least 50% of the establishments open on public holidays according to the scheduled shifts.

The identification of these stations must be carried out by the Prefect for urban and extra-urban traffic.

For the motorway network, excluding branches,

indispensable services must be guaranteed by ensuring emergency services and supplies of rescue and police vehicles;

the service stations operating on the motorway must remain open at least one every hundred kilometres;

the identification of the service stations, whose opening is commanded, must be carried out by the Presidents of the Regions concerned or by their delegate.

    - Motivations for the strike:

"the government - explain the managers of Fegica - increases the prices of petrol with interventions on excise duties but has discharged the responsibilities on the petrol station operators, calling them speculators. And this even after Mister Prices has ascertained what behavior of the petrol stations is in line with excise movements".

The managers therefore state that "first we want to restore the truth and then we want to have a government that acts as the government and that is, that intervenes on the endemic problems of this sector which also has problems in terms of legality, just think that 13 billion euros a year are escaped by petty crime, given that 7,000 plants are in the hands of the mafia and 30% of the fuel sold in Italy is clandestine".
