The new Hyundai van, called Staria, featuring a futuristic and aerodynamic design, arrives on the Italian market.

Available in the wagon and luxury variants, it has a cost that starts from 43,000 euros and can go up to 60,500 euros.

Inside, it features a 10.25-inch display, a central band with touch technology, and a push-button gearbox control in the version with automatic transmission.

The luxury variant, with 7 seats, is enriched by the second row equipped with seats that fold electrically and slide to increase the load space.

Furthermore, using the relax mode, activated by pressing a button, it is possible to automatically recline the seats in a position that disperses the passenger's weight and improves body balance.

However, the system guarantees a comfortable space for adult passengers accommodated in the third row.

Thanks to a passenger compartment that benefits from a wheelbase of 3,273 mm, an overall length of 5,253 mm, a width of 1,997 mm, and a height of 1,990 mm.

The wagon version can accommodate up to 9 people.

Beneath the smooth form of the Staria is a 2.2-litre turbodiesel unit that delivers 177PS and 430Nm of torque, and uses a highly efficient turbocharger for improved low-speed torque delivery.

This engine can be combined with front-wheel drive with a 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic gearbox, or with the 4WD Htrac system, and equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

As far as driving aids are concerned, Staria can count on systems such as Forward Collision Avoidance Assist and Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, and also offers the Wireless Module Seat Belt Reminder: the first seat belt reminder system in the world which uses wireless communication technology.

The luxury version prevents the sliding door from opening if another vehicle arrives at the side of the van.

While the Rear Occupant Alert warns of the presence of a passenger in the rear seats when the driver is exiting the vehicle.
