The Ford Fiesta, one of the most popular and best-selling cars in the world, on the market since 1976, enters the honors of collector's auctions.
The English Internet platform Car&Classic, specialized in vintage cars, is offering an online auction of a rare example of the first series from 1981, in a Bravo special edition.
The specimen, at the time purchased for 4,215 pounds, today has an estimated value almost double (about 9,500 euros) and will be sold to the highest bidder on the site on 3 February, at 21.45 in the Greenwich time zone, 22.45 Italian time.

1.1-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, 4-speed manual gearbox, right-hand drive, two-tone silver and cobalt blue bodywork, sunroof, 12-inch wheels, Fiesta with UK registration number TVF938W has traveled 12,600 km in 22 years miles (20,277 km).
This is one of 20 right hand drive Bravos still on the road in England.
Since its first registration it has changed hands 7 times.
Ford has anticipated in the past months that the Fiesta will go out of production permanently next June.
