Against the background of Communications Minister Shlomo Karai's intention to dramatically cut the Kaan Corporation budget and the wave of protests that arose as a result, public broadcasting registers another international achievement: the series in question "Eichmann - The Lost Recordings" ("The Devil's Confession") produced by Kaan, MGM and SIPUR was sold to a giant The content is Amazon Prime Video.
This is the first Israeli docu-series whose broadcast rights have been sold to Amazon Prime Video, and it will be available to watch in the United States starting today.
Golan Yokhpaz, CEO of Kaan, said: "This extraordinary series could only have taken off in one place - here, the Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation.
The sale of the series to Amazon proves both the importance of public broadcasting in the story of the history of Israel and the Jewish people, and the fact that Israeli public broadcasting is one of Israel's outstanding ambassadors in the world.
Amazon's Director of International Content, Vernon Sanders, said: "We are proud to work with MGM and SIPUR to bring the successful docu-series to our audience in the US.
The fascinating and important testimony reminds us all that we must not forget the horrors of the past."
