Keshet 12 presented today (Wednesday) its new schedule of drama and comedy series.

At the event that took place at the Eretz Israel Museum in Tel Aviv with the participation of the creators, producers and actors, six series were presented that will appear on the Keshet 12 screen during the coming year, alongside four additional series that will be filmed during that time.

Keshet said that it will invest about NIS 100 million in the drama schedule and will also invest in series by Israeli creators that will be co-produced by Keshet International.

Avi Nir, CEO of Keshet Group, said in his speech at the event: "We live in the golden age of Israeli drama.

Such a phenomenon, like a perfect storm, occurs over years, only when there is a connection between several forces at the same time - creative forces, audience, market and investors.

Keshet has been operating in the field of drama for 30 years, with about 100 dramas, which have traveled all the way from Bat Yam to Los Angeles.

We are the leaders of the anti-binge movement - both in the sense of the timeline but also in the local-Israeli sense against the global onslaught of streamers.

We are looking for a drama or comedy that will be present thanks to its content and our stage, in our collective minds and hearts, for weeks.

In the coming year, important, complex, funny, excellent drama series will be released, and we intend to place them in the heart of prime time.

It's cold, stormy and dangerous outside.

We don't want the golden age of public and commercial broadcasting to turn into the ice age."

culture.

"I think it's important for the cultural fabric, to have all kinds of content. This channel reflects our multiculturalism, and culture in general is a heart, it's a soul, without culture we'll be gray and we'll be very boring. We'll pretty much die from the inside. So don't give up on the department This one. It produces a great deal of life and social power."

"It is very bad that a public broadcasting corporation will close, because there is no democratic country that does not have a broadcasting corporation," Lior Raz told Walla!

Culture, "Besides, the livelihood of many people will be lost because of this thing. In the world of television, there are many people who work in transit, catering, taxis, equipment, lighting, that's thousands of people who will lose their jobs if this happens. In addition, the Israel Democratic Institute did a survey And found out that 82 percent of the Israeli public wants the broadcasting corporation to stay. So long live Avok, as they say."

Itai Turgeman added: "It makes me very sad. We as actors witness how much worthy and high-quality content they produce, and how much they strengthen the drama and allow the actors to play, work and do amazing things that happen in the corporation. It's a real shame."
