A man, who threatened to commit an attack in a Colmar-Paris TGV on Friday morning, was subdued, we learned from concordant sources.
This incident led to the immobilization of the train at the Lorraine TGV station.
“The situation is over and under control.
The person was arrested,” an SNCF spokesperson told AFP.
The SNCF specifies that the train is two hours late, after "intervention of the police".
To justify this, the company's website simply indicates the "presence of abandoned luggage" and the "inappropriate behavior of a customer who disturbs the trip".
This attempted attack recalls the foiled attack on the Thalys in 2015, between Amsterdam and Paris.
The three Americans, considered heroes, were naturalized French at their request three years ago.
