Dental pain, an almost universal nightmare

Since the dawn of time, suffering related to teeth has been dreadful and dreaded. “There is no philosopher who bears a toothache with serenity ,” wrote William Shakespeare. Among the most common acute pain, dental pain is one of the most violent and persistent. We have all experienced them and often have bad memories of them.
