Two new versions of the Defender in Israel: a plug-in plug-in version and an elongated 130 version with 8 seats.
They join the short configuration known as the 90 and the longer version known as the 110.
The plug-in version that was introduced back in September 2020 is only now arriving in Israel and will offer a combination of a 2-liter gasoline engine with an electric unit with a combined power of 404 hp and 64 kg.
The drive is a permanent double through an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The performance: 5.6 seconds to 100 which make it the fastest Defender on offer and a maximum speed of 191 km/h. On the electric side is a 19.2 kWh battery that will carry it for a declared distance of 43 electric km.

In terms of external dimensions, there is no change in the socket loaded defender, 5 meters long, 2 meters wide and 2 meters high.
The wheelbase is 302 cm. The storage of the batteries eliminates the possibility of a third row of seats in the Defender and the volume of the trunk is 853 liters. The angles of approach, abandonment, belly and a successful height of 90 cm do not change, but the towing capacity drops from 3.5 tons to 3 tons.
The batteries add about 200 kg to the curb weight of 2,525 kg.
In terms of accessories, the Defender Plug-in will come with an off-road package that includes a power transmission, AT tires, air shocks, the array of cameras that shows what's going on under the hood, and of course the Terrain Response system with 7 driving modes.
The comfort equipment includes LED lighting, split climate control, leather upholstery and electric adjustment for the front seats, Android and Apple compatibility from the 10-inch multimedia system, 20-inch rims, and more.
The safety systems include adaptive cruise control, automatic braking, "dead zone" vehicle warning, lane departure correction, rear cross traffic warning and more.
The price of the Defender 110 plug-in will be NIS 640,400.

In terms of off-road capabilities, the 130 gives up the active differential of the other Defender versions, its place will be filled by traction control, but retains power transmission, air shocks, water level sensors, the set of cameras that simulate what is happening under the hood and the Terrain Response system.
In terms of equipment, it records LED lighting, climate control with three zones, leather upholstery with electric adjustment, for the front seats, a panoramic roof, multimedia with a 10-inch screen with Android and Apple compatibility, 19-inch rims, and more.
The safety systems are the same as those of the 110 plug-in.
The price of the Defender 130 will be NIS 622,100.
The price of the 7-seater version of the Defender 110 is NIS 571,600 for the 250 hp diesel version and NIS 639,500 for the 400 hp gasoline version.
