FAST X is supposed to be the tenth and last in the "Fast and Furious" series. It comes to cinemas in May and will be a distillation of everything we met in the previous films. for better and for worse

From the moment the first movie in the Fast and Furious series came out, the world was divided into two, those who snorted with contempt and classified it as an action movie with cars or science fiction about vehicles and those who left the cinema, sat down in their Civic and told themselves that all that separates them from the dream is a neon strip at the bottom of the doors.

Reality proved that there were more of the second kind...

Now, the new and final film (or so Universal Studios promises) comes to the last line of this film series, when without giving too many spoilers - it should close some of the open ends that this series left along the way.

In fact, open ends might be the only thing this series has more than cars flipping and exploding.

There is no bad person, there is a person who is bad for him.

The story in general terms - in the third decade of the fast and furious dynasty, some of the big stars who appeared in this series of films (and also with guest appearances by "Brian O'Connor" - the late Paul Walker) gather for one last lap. Dom Torto (Vin Diesel) and his family

stand Faced with a new enemy, more determined and dangerous than any they have met before. This enemy is Dante, the son of a drug lord whom the gang eliminated in Fast and Furious 5 released in 2011. Dante played by

Jason Momoa ("Aquaman") who is fueled by the Force Revenge on those who hurt him. For 12 years he hatched the plan that resulted in Torto paying the full price - when he takes his family away from him, the biological one with the main target being Dom's son and also the motor family.

In the best tradition of the series, and unlike the straight line races it relied on at the beginning, the plot twists and turns between Rome, Brazil, Los Angeles, London, Portugal and even Antarctica as along the way old enemies return and new alliances are forged.

Among the cast members collected from the series of films will appear Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludicrous" Bridges, Natalie Emmanuel, Sonag Kang, Jason Statham, Scott Eastwood and also the Oscar-winning actresses Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron and others.

Fast and Furious 10 - the cars

Now for the really interesting part - the cars that are going to appear in the series.

So we sat down in front of the trailer and for too many minutes, frame after frame, we extracted the best from the list of cars we managed to catch there.

How many of them will reach the finish line?

Probably most of them don't...

1970 Dodge Charger

- Dom Torto's sidekick throughout almost every movie in which he appears.

Closing the circle - he built it with his late father and in the film he talks to his son while sitting in the car.

During the film he falls out of a plane with her, uses her to shoot down two helicopters and later chases Dante who kidnaps his son with her.

Dodge Charger SRT Helcat Red-Eye Widebody

- that's a lot of name for a car, and it'll hit 100 km/h while you say it. Like the original it's named after, it's the top end of the crazy lineup of Charger models R. SRT. Oh, and she's also here because Dodge is quite a sponsor of the series.

Datsun 240Z -

in bright yellow and with a kit that expands the body of the small Japanese sports car and a hood from which a monstrous supercharger peeks out.

It seems that the only scene in which it appears is the race between Toretto and Dante, when it is driven by a young lady.

Lamborghini Ghiardo -

in one of the chases, a convoy of cars is seen crossing the streets of Rome led by the gold-painted supercar, because if there is a good idea for a getaway car it is to look like the most unusual thing in the world.

Alfa Romeo 2000GT -

If we have one request from the movie fairy it's that they don't destroy this car.

This sports car sculpted by an artisan by Bertone appears in furious orange, zigzagging through the busy streets of Rome.

Chevrolet Impala -

Dante's car in the race against Doom, it wasn't exactly the Challenger's direct rival in that period of the late 1960s and early 1970s.

But come on, do you want to open up the reliability of this series in all that has to do with historical accuracy and driving?

Harley Davidson Concept -

It's not exactly clear what mix of models it was created from or if it's based on an existing model at all, but during one of the scenes where Dante throws cars in the air he does it on a kind of Streetfighter-Bover with a huge V engine, a red exhaust manifold and a Harley Davidson logo on the container (without the inscription).

We don't know what it is, but I wish Harley would make it.

Also on the menu: a Ford Fairline, a Chevy El Camino with rocket launchers (okay...) and a Porsche 911 that ends very badly.
