2023-02-14T18:23:05.183Z

The company showed the new Fidelio L4, Wi-Fi speakers and a maximum brightness screen. How the device works to sleep better.

Before more than 150 journalists,

TP Vision , manufacturer of televisions and

Philips

audio line

, presented its 2023 products. The company showed a great advance in the sharpness of its screens and in the audio quality of its speakers.

But the surprise came when he put headphones on stage

to sleep better.

At the event, which was held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, audio devices stood out.

Especially the

speakers that have a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection.

Being connected to the Wi-Fi network of some houses allows them to synchronize with several cell phones or tablets, to play music from different devices.

Also, if you have more than one, they can play together, or one can play from one device, and the other from a second smartphone.

One can even

be muted and the other on

(ideal for when placed in different environments).

The new Philips Wi-Fi speakers.

They connect one by one to the electrical network of the house and create the well-known Ambilight, with the simple press of the link button generating a deeper lighting effect in movies, games or music.

Respond to commands from Alexa-enabled devices, or any device that includes the Google Assistant, playing music through the speaker.

Even if you are using an iOS device, you can still use Siri for voice control.

It comes in

two models

: the

TAW6505/10

with 80W sound power and the

TAW6205/10

with 40W.

Both achieve multi-room sound, with perfect synchronization with other devices.

They will arrive in the country in the second semester.

The new Philips headphones

The new Fidelio L4.

As for headphones, Philips showed its new top of the range, the

Fidelio L4

, which Clarín learned would land in the country in the second half of the year.

They stand out for their design and come with a leather and aluminum headband.

They also add noise cancellation and have Bluetooth.

For its part, the Fidelio T2

in-ear wireless headphones

have been reduced in size compared to their predecessors, the Fidelio T1.

The charging case is 40% smaller, while the earbuds themselves are 20% smaller.

Three microphones on each button handle active noise cancellation and calls.

Wireless connectivity is also Bluetooth 5.3.

According to the company, the battery lasts 27 hours.

The surprise came when the company announced the

Philips Kokoon N7808

: headphones that monitor the duration and quality of sleep and provide information about your patterns through

Kokoon's sleep tracking app.

Those who suffer from insomnia know that this condition is one of those that most disrupts daily life, causing cognitive abilities to be reduced during the day, attention span to drop, and even other negative effects to occur during the day, such as fatigue, persistent headache and even stomach problems.

The company announced the Philips Kokoon N7808 - headphones that monitor the duration and quality of sleep.

Like many smart watches and bracelets, this device seeks to bring a solution to those who suffer from this disease.

It does this by monitoring sleep patterns at night.

And once analyzed, you can

consult a doctor about the steps to follow

.

The added value is that through the headphones, which are joined by a

flexible headband that is placed around the neck, you can listen to soft music, the singing of the birds, the sound of the rain

or any other incentive for sleep that one wishes .

Simply, the sounds will arrive when connecting the headphones with the cell phone, and they will go silent as one falls asleep.

“This is very Black Mirror,” someone said at the presentation.

It seems, but it sure is better than taking daily Somit, Clonazepam or some other chemical.

The CEO for Europe and America of the company, Kostas Vouzas, gave details of the new screens.

In the image category, the company brings its new

OLED+908

.

It is powered by the latest 7th generation P5 AI processor and runs the Google TV operating system.

It will be out at the end of the year (maybe in Argentina too) and will come in three sizes: 55 inches, 65 inches and 77 inches.

The OLED+908, which reaches a maximum brightness of 2000 nits

The company claimed that its Meta OLED panel reaches a

maximum brightness of 2000 nits

.

Its sound is Bowers & Wilkins, with an 80W 3.1 channel system built into the TV.

And, of course, it is also Ambilight.

On the MiniLED front, Philips revealed its new The Xtra

series

, which includes the flagship 9308 and the less premium 9008. The 9308 is Amiblight and has 64W Bowers & Wilkins 2.1 front-firing sound.

It will arrive in 55 and 65 inches.

The 9008 is 65 inches and has a less powerful 40W 2.0 sound system.
