The wave continues:
HP lays off 100 employees in its branches in Israel.
The high-tech company has about 2,500 employees in Israel, and is now reducing 5% of the company's workforce in Israel.
In November, HP announced that it would lay off 4,000 to 6,000 employees out of its 51,000 employees worldwide, about 12% of its workforce.
According to the company, the move is intended to save expenses totaling 1.4 billion dollars over three years.
In response, HP said: "HP continues to invest in the activity and production centers in Israel and in the business growth of the industrial printing division. These steps, which are taken in accordance with the current market challenges, will allow the company to reorganize and focus on its growth engines. HP will continue to innovate and create value for its customers while focusing on digitization processes with the help of Advanced, flexible and creative technologies. We will continue to support the values of transparency, fairness, inclusiveness and respect towards the company's employees."
