The importer of Lexus to Israel publishes the trim levels and prices of the first dedicated electric Lexus crossover, which will arrive in Israel next month.
First designated because, unlike the electric UX that was based on the gasoline model, the RZ is already based on Toyota's electric platform, the one that also carries the bZ4X, in an extended version.
The RZ has two electric motors that produce dual drive and a power of 313 hp. The performance is 5.3 seconds to 100 km/h and a maximum speed of 160 km/h. Depending on the trim level and the rims that will be paired with it, the range varies between 435 km and the one equipped with 18-inch rims and goes down to 404 km compared to the one with 20-inch rims. In all versions and trim levels, the energy comes from 71.4 kWh batteries.

The Lexus RZ will compete in the local market with competitors such as Mercedes EQC, Audi E-TRON, the electric version of Genesis GV70, BMW iX3 and others.
A direct comparison is somewhat problematic due to the non-standard external dimensions of the model - it is slightly longer than them, but its wheelbase and width are smaller.
As with Lexus models, there will also be three trim levels with the traditional names "Kyushu" for the entry level, "Hedori" in the intermediate version and "Takumi" the most senior.
All trim levels receive the latest Toyota-Lexus safety system that includes a vehicle warning in a "dead zone", automatic braking, cross traffic warning when driving backwards, a passing vehicle warning to open a door, adaptive cruise control, lane departure correction, emergency maneuver assistance, sign recognition speed and more.

Finish levels and prices
In the Kyushu trim level, whose price will be NIS 450,000, the RZ includes surround cameras, electric steering and heating for the leather-like front seats, a 14-inch multimedia screen (officially only compatible with Apple devices), electric trunk opening, wireless charging, a panoramic sunroof, USB C sockets on the front and back and more.
Above it is the generational level of finish at a price of NIS 470,000 which adds memories to the driver's seat, ventilation and heating for the front and rear seats, an overhead display and more.
The highest level of finish Kyosho at a price of NIS 500 thousand upgrades Alcantara upholstery, a Mark Levinson audio system, a heated steering wheel, a darkening panoramic roof and the rims grow to 20 inches.
