The manifesto reads: "We, 'Musicians for Democracy', stand together and express support for the employees of the Public Broadcasting Corporation. We have come to say 'Enough!' The Israeli from among them chose the elimination of public broadcasting as one of his first goals."

"The Public Broadcasting Corporation is one of the best and most important things that has happened in Israeli culture in the last decade. It brings a variety of voices, stories, music and songs, from all ends and levels of Israeli society. It is of enormous importance to continue its blessed work. The closing of the corporation is the silencing of thousands of voices that will never find their place In the commercial broadcasters, voices that create the complexity and true beauty of Israeli society.
