The Chinese technology giant Xiaomi has not been a company of intermediate devices for a long time - and after announcing at the end of 2022 the series of its new flagship devices, Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro, yesterday (Sunday) it announced the international version of the devices as part of the cellular exhibition in Barcelona (MWC).
As expected, the two include a slight design change and Qualcomm's advanced Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip system, alongside a photography setup that includes three cameras carrying the Leica brand of lenses.
The base model, the Xiaomi 13, comes with a compact 6.36-inch FHD+ resolution OLED with a layout of 1080×2400 pixels, with Xiaomi offering support for a high refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.
In addition, it includes working memory (RAM) of 8 and 12 gigabytes, a Sony main camera with a resolution of 50 megapixels and support for fast charging with a power of 67 watts (50% in about 15 minutes).
The premium model, Xiaomi 13 Pro, comes with a 6.7-inch OLED screen with a QHD+ resolution with a layout of 1440×3200 pixels, where you can also find support for a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.
Also, Xiaomi has incorporated a working memory (RAM) of 8 and 12 gigabytes into the device, alongside a 50.3 megapixel camera that includes Sony's most advanced 1-inch sensor.
The charging power in the Xiaomi 13 Pro is 120 watts.
Xiaomi also revealed new wireless headphones - Xiaomi Buds Pro 4 at a price of 249 euros, and also a smart watch - Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro, at a price of 299 euros.
The Xiaomi 13 model will be offered for sale at a starting price of 999 euros, while the Pro model will be offered at a price of 1299 euros.
All the new products are expected to arrive in Israel in the coming weeks.
