News 13 reporter Roni Shechucinski was hit today (Wednesday) by a stun grenade while he was covering the protest demonstration against the legal revolution in Tel Aviv for the channel.
News 13 said that he was slightly injured and fainted, but was treated on the spot and returned to broadcast later.
The protesters against the legal revolution today started a "national disruption day" across the country and blocked major roads.
More than 20 people were arrested at various locations, most of them in Tel Aviv, where police and protestors clashed.
In addition to the stun grenades, the police used stun grenades against them and police officers used force to evacuate them.
Several protesters reported that they were injured. "We did not believe that the police would try to hurt us like this.
The revolution has started and we need to wake up," said one of the protesters.
