You can call it history:
Microsoft announced yesterday (Tuesday) a significant update to its operating system - Windows 11 - which will allow iPhone users to synchronize the device with the computer almost completely.
This is an experimental version of the Phone Link app, which has been available to Android users since 2015, and allows you to access messages, calls, notifications, photos and apps.
However, Microsoft says that Phone Link will provide "basic iOS support."
This means that the application will only synchronize calls, messages and contacts from the iPhone, and will not allow access to applications or quick transfer of photos and videos.
Also, the app will not support group messaging or sending media (like photos and videos).
"We're starting this preview with a small percentage of beta testers over the next week," Microsoft said in a statement.
During the trial, the software giant will collect feedback from the group of testers (or as it calls them - Insiders), so we may see changes in the final version.

Alongside this, Microsoft continued with the surprises and announced yesterday the arrival of the new Bing search engine to the taskbar in Windows 11 - in the "Start" bar.
This means that now typing in the search box will open the new Bing interface.
"The search box is one of the most popular features in Windows, with over half a billion users every month," said Microsoft.
